Tahiti Natural Oils is a family business specializing in the production of Tamanu seed oil; the precious body oil known by Polynesians since ancient times and considered a blessing from the gods.

 

We are based on the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia; a vast overseas territory dotted with 118 volcanic and coral islands in the heart of the Pacific Ocean. One of the last havens.

Thanks to our oil mill, combined with research and experience, we ensure a small high quality production, respecting the original characteristics of Tamanu seed oil as a natural remedy of traditional Polynesian medicine.

We offer a virgin and cold pressed Tamanu seed oil to European, Japanese, North American and Polynesian retail sellers who have particularly appreciated its quality.

The history of Tahiti Natural Oils begins in 2009 when its two founders arrive in Polynesia by different roads and without knowing each other yet. One came for a backpacker adventure, the other for studying the secrets of traditional Polynesian dance.

Both experiences led us to a profound harmony with the inhabitants and the polynesian culture and through them to discover the use and effectiveness of Tamanu.

 

It was during that period that both, realizing that we had found our corner of paradise, we decided to stay and create a company dedicated to Tamanu seed oil.
